| I'm working on my aircondition system. I bought everything new for it. I pulled a vacuume on it. charged it up and compressor won't cycle. It won't kick off it just wants to stay on. changed low and high pressure switches. would appreciate some help out there. THANKS! |

| ok everything new did you make sure the vac was pulled all the way down. and when you started filling it up the clutch was not ingaged right. that means your system is low so put your a/c on max and high on the fan when filling it up. when filling your system up the clutch will start cycling on and off that means you need more r134a. as soon as your clutch stays inguaged stop filling it and check and see if you are at the correc point of it being full. if you are useing r134a you should have a guage and make sure that it is in the blue and only the blue. if in the green add some more. yellow or red you need to have some removed. hope that helps and welcome to the forum

| yes the vacuum was all the way to zero. put the recommended amount in it. put the gauges on it, its blue, and it still don't kick off. It was kicking on and off when i started putting the first can in it. then when I put the second can in it. it started kicking on less and then it stopped kicking off. ac will freeze you out. nice and cold. but won't kick off. |

| your a/c system is just fine. DO NOT touch it!! when you have your a/c on looking at the compressor the clutch should be on at all times. the only time the clutch and compressor should be not working if it is off. and you DO NOT want the compressor to be cycling on and off all because you will Burn it up. then you will have to buy a new compressor. leave it in the blue and it it starts cycling on and off again you need to ADD more R134a.
