Oxygen Sensor replacement--HELP!

I want to change the oxygen sensor on my 94 Silverado, 2x4, 5.7L. I looked where the ALLDATA diagram shows where it is located but it's not there. Does anyone know where it's located. Am I'm losing it or what?

To me this is showing it is on the driver side, on the exhaust manifold.

look further down off the manafold about 12" down and i can not remember if they have them with the cats too.

Look on the passenger side just before the Cat converter. You probably have to lay on your back looking up. It is probably a 3wire.

OK thanks,I'll have a look today. The Sensor that I bought has one wire, though.

That's where it was and it is a 3 wire. Looks like it going to be kind of tough reaching in and connecting the wires. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

I warmed my truck up for about 5 minutes. Used an adjustable wrench with a cheater pipe to initially break it loose, then used a O2 socket for the rest of the job. get your tools ready before warming up the truck.

OK, so I've got my new sensor, my tools ready, the truck is jacked up but I've no idea how I'll be able to connect the sensor. The connector is back where I cannot (I think) reach. The wire coming from the truck doesn't seem long enough. Any suggestions?

there should be a plug right in the back of the O2 sensor.... unless it is one of the older ones, and even then, it should reach unless it has been altered from stock. But if that is the case, how are you at cutting and splicing? LOL.

there is a plug and yes, they are a pain to reach sometimes.
one end of the plug is most likely connected to the body or frame with one of those annoying little plastic tabs.

as a last resort, do as junior said and snip, snip

How long is the new wire comming from the sensor. That is where the old connector should be unless its the wrong part. It happens quite often i would double check your part numbers first. Perhaps remove the old one and take it to the parts store with you
