| Fuel Mileage Btwn 1500 vs 2500 i would like to know if the 2500 with the 6.0 is alot worse on gas than a 1500 with the 5.3? Chevy |

| it's inbetween 5 to 7 mpg diff. with the 6.0 look into getting 10 to 15 mpg and the 5.3 lookiing at about 12 to 18 mpg

| If you're driving solo, I would guess (with a light foot) the 1500 gets 14 city and 20 hwy, while the 2500 gets 12 city and 16 city. My 98 2500 (7.4L) gets 12 city and 14 hwy....not much difference between the two......pulling a load is a different ballgame. |

| i have a 1500 with the 5.3 and i get an average of 15 mpg city and 18-20 mpg highway, but i was thinkin about gettin a bigger truck to do more work with, and i figured that they cannot get that much different gas mileage ? |
