| Drove my brothers new truck. He bought a 2008 Chevy 1/2 ton with a 6.0 installed a mild cam, & a stall converter, power pulleys, and changed out the exhaust system boy does it sound good I got on it from a 35 mph roll it just took off fast, one wouldn't think that the truck hauls b_tt because the outside is stock. I was also helping him work on his 05 truck he installed a 6.0 in it placed some different heads well the machine shop shaved to much off the heads that the valves... were hitting the pistons so some friend of his lent him some tool that cuts some of the piston so that the valves won't hit it's a cool tool one has to place cutting tool where valve would be and measure and place head back on block to remove what is needed so valve won't hit piston the job turned out fine, he was just stabbing the engine back when I left, now this truck at a 35 mph roll will get all over the road with the stuff that's on the engine. When one lives in a small town you can get away with warranty issue like with the stuff he did on his new truck. |

| I love sleepers like that... I went to a show shine and drag one time and watched some of the bracket racing... this guy raced a Firebird.... one of the newer ones, and it was bone stack on the outside... not even the exhaust was rumbly... Then when the tower chimed down, and he punched it, he lifted the front end of that car off the ground for the ENTIRE 1/8th mile track! Cool as he!! I tell ya, What a show..... a total sleeper, none saw it comming! LOL... ![]()
