| I was thnking of replacing the rad support on my 89 chevrolet k1500 pickup, as its starting to get a few holes in it. Im just wondering what is required to replace this. Obviously you have to remove the radiator, shroud, grille, headlights etc... what about fenders, wheel wells?? anything else i should know about this? |

| there arer 2 or 3 holding hte rad to the support. right on top in plastic fan shroud. then there are 2 bolts holding it to the frame. big bolts smae as body mounts..couple on the fenders and your done... al you need to do is get alll the wiring off of it and the battery box.. you should be able to do it without removing your fenders.. are you doing a stock replacement or a conversion? |

| It's a stock replacement. I just want to replace mine because it's quite badly corroded. Wonder how much of a pain those frame bolts would be to remove.. |

| if those frame bolts are rusted too bad to unbolt then get a 4" grinder and grind them off and get new nuts and bolts
