Smile today is a good day

this truck has been through **** and back since i bought it in march. i paid 1900 for the truck with a new 4.3 that i had to put in myself. no problem right. wrong. i worked on it for about 2 weeks before i got it to run right. it had reandom misfires and vaccuum leaks galore. so after i got al that staighned up i took it to get inspected. they say it needs a few thing but it will pass. now this was in april. so i get it fixed and was letting the computer do its thing. wouldnt you know some guy hit me and my wife and almost totalled the truck. frame was bent, control arms shot front end wrecked. so after making all the phone calls it is my wifes fault that a light was out and she proceded with caution. ok whatever, ill fix it. 2500 bucks later this is where it sits new rims, s10 front end swap, new control arms, and some other work here and there. now i just got the truck back today after taking in back and forth to the shop to have them straighten the frame, i did the rest of the work, then they had to look in over, then i had to do somemore work to get it inspected, then i finally took it for the last time this morning and got it back at 12pm. i knew today was gonna be a good day

HAHAHAHAHAHa you need bigger tires! OMG I am just picking... dude seriously, that looks awesome, especially with the Jimmy trim on the side. Very classy. I love it. Nice job.... what size are those rims? You are close enough to me, I may be able to help you with some tires for them....

there 18s. not sure of the width. i would say close to stock but more backspacing. that is wht they stick out so much in the front. i may be getting some 16 american racing rims for cheap. they are for a 4wd blazer so they will fit without any problems. i had to pull an arm and a leg to let the guys at the local shop inspect it like it is. they said they stick out like 2.5 inches. 1.5 is acceptable. but nothing a couple 30 packs wont take care of lol. but if you have any 18 inch tires laying around that are in good shape and have all 4 i will take them. atleast bigger then i 40 series lol. i hat a bump in that thing and it felt like the body was gonna rattle off. the shock and all are brand new so i know its the tires. big tires and some fender flares and i should be able to drive worry free. but for now ill keep my eyes pealed for them coppers. i dont get the licence back for a few more years so i gotta keep a low profile for now. have you ever seen any videos from the muddin mulichia. they are a local group of guys that go 4 wheelin alot. check out there vids on you tube

HAHAHAHA... amazing what some people see in these pics! LOL...

and you know, for rims... gmctrucks might be a good guy to contact... he is going to let me know monday, but if the bolt pattern works, those rims would look decent and tires are less expensive. just a thought.

its a 4x4 . i thought about lowering it 2 inches to close some of the wheel gap but i was told it isnt a ood idea to mess with the torsion keys. but i did run across these but they are still tobig for my stock tire. they are 16x7 american racing rims. brand new in the box for 200 for the set. i may buy them and get tires if i can find the right price. nomatter how i look at it im stuck buying rims or tires. so my search continues. but if anyone is interested these rims are still for sale and there not really being advertised as that but they are just sitting in a basement. pm me or just contact me through here

16x7 may work for a ton of people... but what is the bolt pattern? would they fit your truck, and in turn be a 5x4.75 pattern?
