B&M Shift Kit??

I am wanting to get some better shifting out of my 4L60-E without replacing it or rebuilding it. I've just recently been thinking about an shift kit for it. I dont know many of the pros and cons about it nor can i find much helpful info on it. Can any one shed some light on this for me? Thanks!!

Here's some info.
Sonnax Servo 700R4 AODE 46RE Sonnax Transmission Parts 4L60E

700R4, 700 Raptor Transmissions by Performance Automotive and Transmission Center, 700R4
IF you are wanting a snappy shift.... use a TransGo 4L60E-HD2 shift kit.

While you have the valve body down & 2-4 servo out , remove the check ball capsul in the servo bore. Install a 3/8 inch cup plug in it's place. Next time my trans shells out im replacing the sun shell with (The Beast) and some other HD parts.
Be good! GMC

What Kit did you go with Morrow? The B&M or the TransGo? What stage kit did you use? Stage 1 is usually RV/Towing Kit, Stage 2 is usually Street/Strip. And the unlikely Stage 3 being a full manual valve body.

sorry took so long to respond, was out all week end camping. i put a B&M in it and did the Heavy duty one. i pull alot and spend alot of time off roading. the difference is remarkable. when im off roading there is hardly any tire speed lost when shifting. and when pulling a load pretty much the same thing. wish i would of put one in a long time ago!!

Yes, you did the right stage Morrow. The RV stage is perfect for what you want and not going to be hard on the u joints. The street/strip mode will have been barking tires from 1st to 2nd leaving a light at about mid throttle. The RV kit offers a nice firm positve, right now ****, without suffering comfort (whip lash), barking tires and tickets for exhibition of speed.
