 | 2003 Chevy question about "service" message I have a 2003 2500hd, Duramax, Allison automatic. Today, a message appeared on the display, "service 4wd", and none of the 2h/4h/4lo buttons are lit up anymore. The truck seemed to be driving fine. Can anyone tell me what most likely caused this?  | Try putting it in 4 wheel high, see what happens, if it doesn't help put a scan tool on it, it may point to a bad module

| yup sounds like a bad encoder/motor, bummer, although could be faulty wiring...
