| 67 chevy truck rear axle Im new to older trucks and was wondering if any body knows if you can swap out rear axles from a 71-72 c-10 to a 67 or do you have to get another rear end. I want to switch from 6lug to 5 lug wheels. |

| as long as they have the same spline count, outside diameter and lenght you should be fine. why not swap the hole rear. it way be a little easier and with that many years of wear and tare it wouldnt be a bad idea to give everythign a once over it all depends on what your lookin to spend. if you have the axles already then you just need some bearings and seals and youll be set. if you dont have the axles then it may be cheaper to buy a used rear and rebuild |
