| 1990 k1500 lift kit i have been looking around at all the different types of kits for my truck, i think i have decieded to go with torsion bar crank, and a 3" body lift. the only trouble that i am noticing is that they say for the body lift the transmission shifter rod has to be extended by welding the extender. i dont have a welder. is there anyone that has any ideas on another way of securing that extender? thanks |

| I take it you have a manual trans? you could get a new knob threaded on that is long, like a pistol grip or something...or make one
