Need help with temp. gauge

Does and body know how to hook up the stock temperature gauge on a 1973 chevy truck? please help.

Did you remove it? or are you adding a stock one from another truck?

There should be a wire coming off the harness that will plug into the snsor.

didnt replace it. just was never hooked up. it is the stock gauge that came with the truck.

is it not hooked up on the motor side or the interior side? if its motor then look for a plug that isnt attached to anything and then find out what it goes to by checking the color combo... i guess same thing goes for the interior

should be hooked to a single pole sensor on the side of the head, I think it should be a green wire with a white end

I'm going to add if you can't figure it out might go to library and look at the books they have there for your truck im 100% sure you can the info there.
