Are you sure that the new u joint is lined up correctly in the pinch bolts? other then that the drive line is balanced and you may have rotated it 180 degrees?

did you press the joint with a press? if you did it with a hammer in a vise you probably bent the shaft. You have to be very careful with the new aluminum driveshafts

I agree with you I bought this tool that it has different sizes of adapters so that you have a choice to use it on different cars/trucks in fact I haven't even used it but it's there when I need it oh one uses an impact to press them out it's a lot easier.

Please verify that the shaft is till in "phase". Even one spline off will throw the shaft out of balance.
If it is a one piece shaft and phase cant be messed up, then make sure that the slip yoke is lubed properly. Even automatic transmissions require a little grease on the splines.

Totally forgot,...make sure that you have not overtightened the u-joints. Too tight and the bearing becomes a bushing, and this is not very good.

my experience has always been another u-joint but these guys know a lot more than i do..little s10- had all the u-joints replaced in it at least 2 times for all 3 and 1 time for one of them

if there is a grease fitting make sure to keep them greased..that helps a lot also
