you guys r right on the money i have no blown fuse i found the black box for the cruise checked the conections the cable is hooked up to the throttle body. can you take the cruise switch apart and clean the contacts r should i start at the throttle body and work back the other way

I would NOT take that switch apart, they are a pain, and expensive if you destroy it. I would lube the cables from the TBI back and with a new fuse, run it and see if it works alright for ya. Fuses go, it is not an uncommon occurance, so you may be fine.

Well I'm not sure about the multi funtion switch but if everything else works blinkers and lights and what not I seriously doubt that that is you problem. You could start at the TB and work your way to the box and lust clean everything up that's definalty a good place to start.

dubble check the cable make sure its not broke somewhere in the casing

thanks a bunch i have had a blast worken on this truck getten the kinks worked out been driven a jeep wrangler for the past 2 years kept my jeep but sure do like haven a chevy 4x4 back in the driveway

94 chevy still no cruise butt learning alot

94 chevy still no cruise the cable to the t b is in good shape the motor inside the black box looks in good shape (no i did not mess with anything other than made sure everything was not froze up) pulled the cable and lubed it. WE talked about fuses last night what r the big silver 30 amp fuses on the right bottom of the fuse pannel or what do they run
