my wipers wont turn off!!!!!!!

just ran home for lunch stopped raining now my wipers wont shut off had to pull the fuse

sounds like a bad switch to me. are they running at full steam or on delay??

they still work on all settings but when i move the switch to off they still run on low

got them to stay off or there not on i put the fuse back in they went back down and stayed off .ill have to mess with it when i get home from work. so if you guys have an ideal and post it I'm not answering am at work

Ok well this may definatly my a answer for us because you cc doesn't work and now you wipers are acting up it could very possibly be your multi function switch no because no you have something else malfunctioning on the same switch! I think your truck maybe diagnosising itself!

i can get the witch brand new off ebay for $24.00 i am gonna hook it up under the dash drive it down the road and see if thats it.If it is the prob do you guys think if i cut the cable on the old one tape it to the new one ,do u think i can pull it threw the steering calum without taking it all apart and will that work ?

Umm good that's a thought it should work I mean copper wires are copper wires right! The only thing you would need to worry about is like color change along the way abut I doubt they change the colors of the wire in the 12" or so of space between the switch and the colume!

im not gonna cut the new one just gonna use the old one to pull it to the bottom of the colum so i can plug it in. if i see it right the wire is made into the switch so the only plug or wire is the connecter plug at the bottom

Well yes if I understand your post correctly then yeah just plugging the new one in should work if that's the problem then it'll work!
