aluminum wheels

I bought a set of aluminum wheels for my truck this past summer. I'm wondering if it would be alright to keep them on for the upcoming winter here. Unfortunately, we get lots of snow up here and with it comes lots of salt and sand on the roads. I still have my steel wheels, so i could always put them back on, but I like the looks of these ones much more.

I think you answered your own question..... 2 sets of wheels and tires or look at ugly wheels in a couple of years, your choice depending on what your plans are for the truck

you got to suffer a little if you want them to look good for a long time... i had to take off the chrome wheels yesterday on my jimmy for the winter... that and the tires arent snow rated but then again i dont know any 40 series tires that are.... but unless you plan on cleaning the heck out of your aluminum ones every day then i would change them... salt destoyes nice rims
