I just put in plugs and fuel filter. I'll try high octane next time.
I also just put Lucas in the fuel tank.
Does that do the same as Seafoam or should I try that too?
Thanks

Yeah seafoam is awesome stuff!!! put it in your tank or undo you brake booster hose and stick the hose in the can and let it suck it out but don't let it stall the motor!!

If the truck is a 1996 im assuming its got the Vortec in it, im in a high school auto class, and Vortecs are very sensitive to fuel pressure, too low and they wont hardly run. Also the ends of the injectors have what GM calls poppit valves, and they get carboned up pretty easily, so id look into that

Spray some starting fluid around intake see if idle goes up that would be looking for vacuum leak and also wires can go bad with that little miles on them what I mean is a cheapo set of wires can be bad from the get go I have seen it happen I buy MSD wires in fact my buddy that totaled his truck had just bought some MSD wires for his truck and he let them go with the truck to the junk yard what a shame I wanted them but he forgot to remove them. I really think it's a sensor.
