Talking towing questions

I just bought a 2005 4 door chevy 2500hd with a 6.0 gas engine. It has a 14 inch suspension lift and 39 inch tires. I was just wondering if anybody know how well it would tow. I will pull a 26ft toyhauler that weighs about 8000 pound wet.

Also wondering if anyone know where to get a 14 in drop hitch for the weight distribution hitch on the toyhauler?

unless it has had the gearing dropped in it, i wouldnt pull a wooden board. that is an extreme amount of lift but more over, it is alot larger tire to try and pull a bunch of weight with.
a 14" drop?? something like that, i might advise you on making it yourself or having a welding shop make it.

That thing is big! Way to big to be doing any real towing with in my opinion.

I agree once a truck is lifted it changes the handling characteristics of the truck for towing safely

that truck was probly made to pull 10-11000lbs?, the lift will definatley hurt handling, and having big tires does decrease you power abit, i think your biggest thing is getting a distrubution hitch! would probly be mandatory....
