95 Z-71 x-tra cab. 6" lift, 35's 410's 350 CID. The only thing I've done to it is the chip mod. a K&N air filter and larger exhaust. It has 125,000 on it and runs great. No smoke, not even when I start it up in the morning. Just change oil & filter every 2500 - 3000 miles. This is about the 20'th Chev truck I've owned and I dont care how tuff that other brand is built is built, I'll keep my Bowtie..

Had a 97 Chevy 350 Ext. cab short bed, 350. It had 130K miles on it, and only changed the alternator. Also my brother has a 96 Ext. cab 350 Had 175K miles before he spun a main (the definition of Mr. Lead Foot ), could still see the factory cross hatching in the cylinder walls. Wouldnt wory too much about "rebuilding" the engine just cause you hit 200K

i have an 89 silverado c3500 dually 454, at 105,000 the timing chain broke and bent the valves, rebuilt the motor since the heads had to come off anyway.

214K and still running strong

My 94 5.7 has 214K and it is still running strong. I bought the truck w/ 188 K, and am just changing the oil every 3 k and taking it easy on it. My tranny is more my worry, as it make some strange noises, but the engine seems fine.

186,000 on my 1995 K1500 (350) when I put in a crate motor. Still ran ok but I had a blown head gasket and 2 cylinders with low compression. 210,400 on the 4L60 trans. I added a deep pan and went to synthetic fluid a number of years ago. Will swap out or rebuild the trans this year because of a few clunks and slow torque converter lock up.
