| Hey everyone, This is my unscientific poll to determine how many miles you've gotten out of your silverado/sierra ('96-'98)?? Specifically how many miles you put on it before you had to do any major rebuild/replacement of your 350 and/or transmission. Thanx for your miles! |

| they claim if you hit 200,000 miles you should get a re-build wether it's running fine or not due to wear in the cylinders. i wouldn't worry about it the gm 350 is the cheepest engine to rebuild!! we just did one with hyperputedic pistons for less than $500 granted a fdriend of mine owns a small machine shop and we do not get charged for labor! |
