Prestone is really good brand! Advance auto parts brand antifreeze is good! Buy pure antifreeze because if you buy 50/50 then you have to buy 2 gallons to get 1 gallon of coolant and 1 gallon of water if you buy pure coolant then you spend about the same as 1 jug of 50/50 but you get twice as much coolant and waters free at home!

stay with color, if you have green stay w/green. if it is dexcool or pink stay with it

I say away from that 50/50 type as well and again leo has a real good point don't forget to top it off with distilled water hey while there might want to flush out your heater core.

read your owners manual. it will tell you exactly what to get. since you have brown coolant, it might be kinda hard to distinguish what color it originally was.

the brown coolant is accually the really crappy orange coolant... i had to go through my entire coolant system really good to get this stuff out... then change it to the green stuff... i have heard nothing but complaints about the erange stuff so choose to swap it.... but you cant mixx the 2 together

OK i got the system flushed got rid of the crappie orange brown gunk now we got the green stuff and the heat will run u out. good call guys thanks

my jimmy is the same way but i have replaced pretty much everthing but the heater core so it better work good... but now that i say that it will break so look fr the upcoming post.... lol i hope not...
