2004 Chevy 2500

I have a 2500 that has went thru two flywheels this year. The truck has 60k miles on it, and has been used primarily to pull a fifth wheel from Michigan to Texas. Anyone else having issues with these?

Welcome to the site;

Might need a little more info here. Which engine is this, and why did the flywheel require replacement.
Is this aproblem related to the starter, and the starter is eating the flywheels, or is this a problem with the flywheel itself?
This wouldn't happen to be a diesel with a dual mass flywheel is it?????

2500 Truck

This is a 6.0 liter, and the flywheels have all cracked around the bolts to the crankshaft. The sound it makes kinda sounds like a rod knock, but if you climb under the truck it is really loud under the flywheel, especially when there is torque on the engine.

has the torque converter been removed and checked? any play in the input shaft of the tranny? something is making the flywheel flex for it to break like that
