I do not own too many trucks that do not have a front driveshaft, and you know I cant leave anything "stock", so I lowered it. I am not against lowering trucks. This one is bagged and c-notched with a spring under conversion for the rear. This permitted me to retain the weight capacity of the truck. This truck spends most of its life at the river, and its job is to look cool, and pull the boat to and from the water. Lowered duallies used to be the "rage", and I was a part of that. Since the original engine was way under powered, it needed a little freshinin up, and we found an opportunity to throw some power into it, and took advantage. She is a nice driver, and really I like it. Dont get me wrong, it is not that nice to drive everyday, it is a 1 ton, and it rides like it, but it has a certain attitude to it, and when I feel the need to share some of that attitude, I break her out of cobwebs. She cleans up well, and presents herself in a reasonable way. When the skinny pedal is smashed, she is all business and becomes an entirely different animal. Reall wakes up when the gas is smashed. Good for putting a smile on your face! Might be why I always have a smile on my face! I am fortunate to have a few cool toys!

i know your not against lowering. lowering duallies is not that common around here. the dually burbs are getting to be a common thing around here and guess that they havent figured out that they could be dropped too. this is a redneck county. you have a lifted up 70 or 80 model ford or a 00+ lifted chevy. big bumpers on anything and everything.

see im a city boy myself... everything is lowered and jsut for the looks... but me personally i want the lowered powerhouse.. this way when i pull up to all the ricers i can just make them disappear with the smoke bellowing out the rear wells... and drown them out in a syphony of 8 cyliders firing away

**** yeah man I heard you there. But it's just that much more tramatizing to these little rice cars when all they see are tires and rims passing them because they could park under you bumpers. quick lifted trucks get me going. I love the sound of a V-8!!! A big block roasting them off the line is like angels decending from heaven sustaining one long note!!
