| Rear End Posi ???? would this ( GM POSI GOV Lock with 3.42 Differential Gears 28s ) fit in my 2000 chevy silverado 1500 4x4 with 10bolt rear 3.42 gears, just wondering ? !!CHEVY!! |

| Did you attempt to include a link or something for us to look at? Regardless, the GM Gov Loc differential is probably one of the worst diffs on the market. These are like ticking time bombs. It is not a matter of if it will fail, it is a matter of when it will fail. The design of the thing is just poor. You could or should consider a different type of limited slip unit. Clutch types will be stronger, and considerably more reliable. Believe it or not, you can upgrade to a completely different axle, and with little modification you can keep the disc brakes too. 12 Bolts are stronger, and can be found with clutch style LS (Posi) units. |

| It won't likely fit anyway. Your truck should have 30 spline axels not the 28s. |
