| 1992 k1500 4.3 sometimes it will start with the key and sometimes I have to push it and pop the clutch. never know when it will start with key, no special times hot cold ya never know. now what is happening seems could be battery. have charger on it now, so now I try to start and nothing the lights wont even work till it sets for a few minutes Any ideas? |

| all clean at battery and terminals. just went out to try again charger down to 1-2 amps dome light was on and soon as I put on brake it went real dim almost off |

| sounds like your battery is dead will it boost with cables |

| have not tried cables, charger started out at 5 amps now down to 1 |

| no not close but if i get it started in morn. i will have boss check it. i did look back at a couple of other posts said to chk. ground at eng. |

| Have a load test done then have them check each cell maybe one is bad, like I always say a bad battery will fool one big times and can cost you a lot of uncalled parts. |

| well at 4 A.M. central IL. cold rain I found the prob. wire coming off of pos. cable going to relay on firewall!!!!! took off pos. cable again to make sure it was not corroded. found that the small wire was corr. about 1 in. back under the insulation. fired right up. my wife very happy she did'nt have to get up to take me to work!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks to all for any help |
