Heated outside mirror question

My passenger side outside heated mirror has stopped working. Any idea where to look for a solution? I didn't see a fuse listed for this. The drivers side works fine so I didn't think it could be a fuse. Thanks

My drivers is out also , i've been told its the mirror. Haven't had a chance either, figured i'd check the wiring just to be sure before replacing

take the mirror off and check for power. if you have power there, replace the mirror. i despise these mirrors for this very issue. the mirror will still be good to have though. i have taken off alot of these that malfunction and later, put them on one of mine that does not come equiped with heated mirrors.

Why do need to keep putting mirriors on your truck? garage doors or tree branches?

Dangit! thats exactly what I didnt want to hear. The mirror has power, but the lense wont move and the heater wont work.

remember that these trucks avg about 10,000 miles a month. something is going to give sometime and i would rather it be that than something more complex like a clutch or a rear gear.

Yeah, I guess I could try the dealer. I am sure the mirror is expensive to change since it has heat, directional signal and courtesy lights. I can live without it but I thought if it is a simple fix then I would get it working again. Buying a new one would be my bail out of GM.
