Performance chips?

Hey I'm new to the forum, I've been looking into a performance chip for my truck. Does anyone have anything they would recommend? What kind of results have you seen? Does it change gas mileage? Does it increase hp?

Does the right color make it faster, is hugger orange faster than midnight blue?

Yeah didn't you know that? Color and how many bumper stickers you got determines how fast it goes

If you want REAL performance get a CUSTOM TUNE, the handhelds for gassers are to conservative, my custom WESTERS tune spanked the superchips handheld by .8 seconds 0-60! plus far superior economy. the handheld claimed 10-15% hp and torque, so i may say i received 20-25% increase? its alot but the truck is so much more alive!

Along with WESTERS GARAGE, check out blackbear performance, nelson performance and there are a few others....checkem out!

I've heard the same as Stumpuller I dont personally have one but know ppl that do and they seem great!!!

Alright thanks for the advice. Have you heard anything good about hypertech chips? Thats what i've mainly been looking at.

Ya it's a chevy silverado 2007 ss 6.0L Engine.... Need more info.

Check around your area to see if anyone does custom tunes on newer trucks I heard that it's cheaper that way and much better because they tune them to what you add ons you do to your truck or if it's just stock they will get the most out of the bad boy 6.0.

PS-Yes color makes a big difference if it's hot red it will burn down the track faster. LOL
