Need electrical help, truck will not crank

I have a 1988 chevy r30 truck that is a 4x4 dually with a 7.4 l 454 engine. The problem im having is when i turn the ignition key to the on and/or start position i have get nothing. My guages and radio will not come on, no dash lights, i cant hear the fuel pump, and worst of all the engine wont attempt to crank. i have replaced the ingnition switch and the cylinder switch thinking that might have been the problem but that did not help. I also pulled out the starter and had it tested and it came back good. I need help with this one, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the lights don't dim I agree with seeerror, sounds like a safety switch. Have you tried moving the shift lever slowly thru its positions as the key is turned? assuming its and auto. start bypassing saftey switches if it doen's help

i tried moving the shifter and it still did nothing. if the nuetral saftey switch is bad, wouldnt my dash lights, guages, and radio still come on when i turn the ignition on?

if the truck has no power whatsoever, trace the power wire from the battery. make sure that the cable is in good shape with no corrosion at the ends. you said your ground was good but i might still take it off the both ends and clean in real good just to be sure.
