Exhaust questions - Page 2

Go with Cherry Bomb Extreme mufflers. I put a single/dual on my truck to make my own cat-back exhaust and it sounds great, it has a nice deep tone and its not too loud to be annoying. It also didn't cost as much as a similar flowmaster or borla muffler. I only spent $55 on the muffler and $230 to have the tailpipes bent and everything welded up.

i have the same engine and i have a 40seres flowmaster single in and dual out sounds like it has a 5.3 in it people look at me funny when i tell them it's only a v6.

Flowmaster. I have 2 chamber ones on my '90 Mustang since 1994, they are very thick and should last many years, my headers have just started to have get a few rust holes, I think the mufflers have many years left in them. I have full length headers, 2.5" all the way back and it is about the loudest car around. I just don't draw attention to myself when I see a cop.
