Thread: 1989 Chevy 305 Timing problems

    Now I got a new issue though, I installed this rubber oil pan gasket and it leaks, the directions said to put it on dry and I did, but why does it leak? I wanted to put rtv sealant on it but didnt, should I take it off and slap a little on it?

    as for the leak, is it in the corners or along the rail, you still need rtv in the corners
