Drilling hole in the firewall...

Well I'm trying to find a spot to run some wires through for my foglights. I remember on my hondas there was always a couple of holes that were covered by rubber grommet/plugs. It looks like there's stuff all over on both sides of the fire wall and I don't want to hit something with my drill bit. Is there a spot that's better to drill or a plug I'm just not seeing?

Also is there a 12V source I can tap into from the fuse block underneath the dash?

Thanks,
Mike

cut a hole in one of the gromits in the firewall just big enough for the wires to slide through. and yes there is a 12v wire get a test light and look for i think a yellow wire and make sure you put a inline fuze somewhere near the fuzebox.

Use a medal cloths hang to fish your wires though the firewall it's saves a lot of trouble.

OK here is a tip i learned at the audio shop.
get an old golf club with a metal hollow shaft, cut the head off, sharpen the end. now you can poke it thru a grommet, from outside, go inside, feed required wire into the shaft, pull out shaft, and the wire is there and the grommet close around the wire

Only bad part is I don't see any grommets that I can poke through. Are they hidden or am I just that blind?
