batty1214 that lift was on a 2500 and a 2004. His and mine are two completely differant trucks as suspension goes

Sorry...... my bad.... you know, GM changes their independent front suspension only SO much in 4 years.......... anyway, thats my two bits...... you might talk to your nearest dealer about the backspacing issue.......cause, you should'nt be changing that much..... or at least in my mind....

i just put a body lift on my truck (3") and it looks good gave it just the right look and i am keeping my stock tires, it looks good, expect the back bumper don't line up bc it didn't come with the bracket

batty1214 the 2004 and 2008 have alot of differances in hte ifs and the 2500 is differant yet again

sorry bout that last comment, lack of sleep and ticked off at the world, and yeah..... anyway, sorry......... I have seen alot of people running skyjackers, even on the new 08 chevy's... as too how sturdy they are, I'm not sure..... I know that the ones that are on the older trucks can be beat for a long time, and old up well..... you might look into them..... although, I think that they are one of the rougher riding lifts out there. my old boss put a procomp on his 2008 1500 a month after it hit showroom floor, and he loves it. But I'm like you, I don't know that I would want to notch the frame....again, sorry bout the last post..... didnt mean to start any ****
