Lift and tires! Ok well what your working with is a 1998 k1500 z71 with a 3 inch body lift. i wanna get a new lift and tires and wheels. i wanna go with like a 4 or 6 inch lift and like 35 inch tires by like 10 inch wide. what do you guys think. my buddies got nitto mud grapplers and there pretty nice. idk but does anyone know how hard a lift is on a chevy for torsion bars?

confused, you want to do away with the body lift or add a suspension lift to the already 3 inches you have?? 35 in tires will fit on a 3 inch lift. you will have to mind the backspacing on the wheels though. are you planning on doing alot of off road with this?? the nitto mud grapplers might not be the best choice in tires depending on your application. anything aftermarket suspension wise is going to play with your factory setup. it will take some of the life out of your suspension. choosing a good quality lift with good quality components will only help the fact.

well, the way I look at it, is that an IFS lift kit is only so good. it doesn't hold up under bigger tires than 33's.... but that is what I have seen..... and most of the kits I have experience with weren't that great.... my advice, spend some money, and don't cheap out...... as for tires, I have been eyeballing the BFG KM2 mud terrains..... I think they look sweet. I did run the procomp mud terrains, and they ran well, and they worked really well in the mud for me

uhh...... if your wanting a 40000 mile tread wear, then you might want to go with a good all terrain...... if you get the right one, it'll do great in the mud, and great on the road.... as for a leveling kit, I don't know much bout them.
