4l60e 97 1500 4x4

what will innerchange with a 97 4l60e 4x4 1500 i been told no other year innerchanges with a 97

700r4, 4l65e, 4l80e(with modifications) and probably a few more.

what kind of mods? they look the same what is the differences i found a 96 4l60e from a suburben what is the diff?

i was referring to the 80e. it is longer due to more clutches and will require relocating the trans cross member along with a new brain for the trans.
as for the 1996 60e, you may be able to bolt it up without a problem. only hangup i can see is maybe the TCM that goes with it. not sure if that year has a seperate TCM though.
