ecm interchange

Will the ecm from a '90 350 tbi 4 spd 4x4 work in a 94 350 tbi 5 spd 4x4?

should work, i don't believe they had VATS back then.

I know they had some change for the 92-94 DRAC chips.
That wouldn't make any diff if not moving that also.
There have been some prom changes,
but I don't think that will effect using the GMCM/ECM.

Didn't pea me off. Sorry if I sounded condescending. It's just that the parts stores I have dealt with are only interested in selling parts, even if it's wrong. My dilema is that my 94 has picked up a rough idle and a stumble at low rpm in any gear. I have tried relentlessly to find a vacuum leak but cannot. No codes, fuel pressure is rock solid 13 psi. New distributor and module, cap, rotor, wires. Truck will drive out of it and run great above 2000 rpm.

check your egr, might have some carbon in there keeping from fully closing

sounds like either the egr or the coolant temperature thingey . i don't trust them either , but can't afford anything else , also don't trust crab or leo there just right too many times , it's like they are aliens or something
