YALL ready for the answer? It was the groudn wire where in goes into the little splitter box at the back end. It had broke in half just 1 inch from the plug. SO it is fixed. I finally found it when I had the pedal held down and shoved on the plug(you know, the frustrated kind) and it lit up..... the let off and it went out..... spliced the wire together and tadaa!!! it works..... thanks for all your input, especially the wireing diagram.... I found a few other problems while hunting...

The tail light assemblies themselves were poorly built. Check for power going into the assemblies, It will help you backtrack power to where you are loosing it.

glad it's fixed, to many times it's right in front of us and we don't see it. grounds are always a pain
