| Hey everyone, I have a 1989 Chevrolet, c/k 1500 pickup. I shattered the driver's side door trying to close it tonight. Luckily, I have a spare window, only the window track is rotten off of it. I was going to take the window track off the window I shattered and put it on my spare one (just buy the adhesive stuff and put the track on the spare window myself). My question is, I'm gonna have to get the old adhesive off of the window track before I can use it on my spare window. ANy idea how hard it will be to get this old stuff out of the track? I was thinking of just prying it/chipping it out with a knife. I was wondering if anyone out there mgiht have a better approach. thanks -M |
