lost in wyoming is on a distinguished road
wont start when cold

I have a 2000 silvarado that wont start in the cold. zero or below it wont start unless it is plugged in.obve zero it will start butjumps up and down on rpm 2000 rpm to almost dying and then back up again.spitts and sputters for a few then runs good. if it is warm out no troubles.any helpwill be nice

diesel or gas? Im assuming diesel. and, thats farily normal if it is.

TS will also cause a not start under 40 degrees, depending on the reading
