| Did you change the studs too? The roller probly require bigger studs, the rockers are probly moving around becasue there is a gap there, the instructions for the rockers should say what size studs they require, read it up and measure the ones on your truck, they are probly too small. Jsut my guess.

| ^^^ Very true. Also, are they self aligning rockers? Did you double check yourself to make sure you have zero lash? Does this happen on all of the rockers or just some? Need more info to help. |

| The studs are the right size for the rockers, i have noticed though that the valve tops are wore on some on the valves more than others, but the roller rockers always stay on the valve tip, and no they are not self aligning rockers, i have put rollers on dozens of motors in the paste without problems.. |

| Don't these heads(center bolt valve cover) require self aligning rocker arms? Centerbolt valve cover heads started in 88' I believe. |

| Hey guys & gals I have heard that one has to grind down where the push rod goes down the head but like I said I just heard that im not 100% sure if one can get away with it by using some part. |

| I think you found your problem. Most centerbolt heads DO require self aligning rockers. Check your slot where the push rod goes through. If the holes are round, that's your problem. Non-self aligning heads have a square or rectangle hole. You might check to see about getting some guide plates machined on. This will require pulling the heads. |

| Once you get the rocker arms straight i would like to know if they made any seat of the pants difference. I always wanted to try this on my own truck but aren't sure if it is worth the expense. Thanks! |

| Did you ever get it straightened out?If you stuck with the rockers You can run the non self aligning rockers on heads designed for the self aligning rockers. It does take a little work to set them up for guid plates and run hardened push rods.Thats what I did on my car for piece of mind.7/16 screw in studs and isky adjustable guid plates and 1.6 full roller rockers. On stock heads the pushrod may hit the guides in the head from the geometry being changed. Some people I know had issues others didnt.
