Is it cold there? maybe you just need to take it out and run it so everyhthing heats up good. if you open the cap cold is the coolant up to the neck of the radiator? Make sure the overflow is properly filled.

Its been nice and warm ,no bitter weather,,,,,the coolant in the radiator is full but the overflow had a crack in it that I sealed up
