Have you put it on a good scanner while driving to see what parts are breaking down when hot?

Wow, I hate to make a suggestion and have you spend more money then that not be the problem. I can sure see and empathize your frustration. This could be way off, I used to drive Ford Cutaway shuttles at the airport. When had a similar problem, but not exact as yours since it seemed to run OK, not good, but OK, then we'd shut it off for a 30 minute lunch break, and it wouldn't start. Wait another 45 minutes or so to cool and it would start like nothing was ever wrong at all. It became a common issue and when this would happen, they knew to replace the crankshaft sensor and problem was solved. Also to note, they never did throw a code when they went bad. We'd drive them for a week for this way until the part came in, it was just that we knew not to shut it off for our whole shift or it would not start for over an hour. In that whole week of driving it, never threw the code. You may want to find a way to test your crankshaft sensor. Test it cold, then drive the truck, get it normal temp, and test it again.

Have you had the fuel pressure checked?

not a code reader but a scanner so you can look at the values of the sensors

as hotrod suggested, you might check your crank postion sensor....... thats what was wrong with my wifes truck, and it showed a code for the O2 sensors, but replaced them, and did nothing. changed the crank sensor, and it runs like a dream
