wiper blade recommendations?

Hey gang - live in colorado which is pretty hard on rubber & plastic - anybody had success with the new 1 piece wiper blades - thought about giving them a try, but I like my money and don't want to flush it on some over-hyped blades - thoughts?

thanks much

These are the wipers I bought for my ram this winter, because the last set when they froze to the windows and i tugged a little they pulled apart.

These are one piece and do just fine. I don't feel the $20 blade is any better than the $6 blade.

one must warm a windshield before playing with the wipers, doesn't matter what kind they are, if frozen you can damage them. one should always turn them off when parking, because if they are frozen and try to move they brake linkage or motor parts.

I guess it depends on where you live,
In CA that advise is good for your date.

Out here the only use for wipers is lifting them to up position
and hanging flags from them. BTW - What's frozen mean ?

BTW, back on topic. I don't spend alot on wiper blades because I intend to replace them every year anyway. In OK they seem to dry out very fast. Not sure why. We do not get lots of icy weather, but when we do, we really do, so it isn't going to matter if they are cheap or expnesive, you are going to have to dig them out. I also use Rain X on my windshield. The kind you rub on, and buff it off. I rarely need my wipers when using that stuff about every 3-4 months, and it seems to me my wipers do not stick to the windshield when we have light ice. My dad had wiper issues at one time, I told him about Rain X and he says he don't need wipers now. He loves the stuff.
