| He says the Engine and Trans were both done in 2006. Would the numbers on the block tell me when the engine was manufactured? If it showed that it was manufactured in 04 or 05, It would add credit to what he is saying. I am not sure how GM sells their crate motors. Could they have engine blocks that are 10 years old sitting in the warehouse? |

| most blocks like that only cover a 3 yr warranty. being replaced in 06, the warranty should be out or near out. same with the tranny. if he has any kind of smarts, he should have all the warranty info for the just in case. ask him for that as proof about the install dates. |
