Tailgate???? This should be a easy one!!! I went fishing with my son yesterday, parked my truck on the side of the road by the local bridge! Came back to go home and noticed some dumie(nice words) had stole my tailgate off my blue baby!! So what im wondering is what all year models would fit on mine. Gonna hit up the local junk yards and get one and have it painted!! Its A 1992 Chevy Silverrado Single Cab SWB Step Side. And when im looking for one is the reg bed and the step side bed tailgate the same size?? One good note for the day was my son hooked a Nice Channel Cat!! Even tho i had to reel it in 4 him!

| Step side tailgates are different and usually more money.

Bummer, to lose a tailgate. Obviously they needed worse than you did, Right??? A-holes. Nice fish. Your son looks scared of it. He'll probably like it better on his plate.

88-98 should fit it for sure. If you are calling around to salvage yards, they know what interchanges. Just tell them what you have and need, they will tell you of they have it.

For a temporary solution, you could just buy a tailgate net, they run about $30 & look decent.
