4L60E noise

my 98 1500 4x4 tranny makes a high pitch sound when it shifts into o.d and when i down shift to 3rd the noise goes away is my tranny junk. and reverse is a little loud. thanks all for your help

is there a vibration at say around 45 to 55 when it down shifts out of od , then i would sat the torque converter is going bad ,

Listen to SHD because if it is the convertor and it goes out it can mess up your whole trans try to find out fast that way you can save some coins.
