1999 abs/brake light mystery

Ok i have read all the post about the 99 silverado and their brake issues, so I have had the module fixed by module masters, did the service recalls on the speed sensors. got the module back and it shut the lights off until I starting rolling forward, then they came on. Washed the truck and the lights never came on that day. next day they are on again. Rain the next day and the lights never came on again. dry now and the lights are back. had it scanned repair shop says the module is bad, gave me these codes co241, 242, 245, 246, 251, 252, and co 265. any help would be great. Thanks

I don't know who module masters are but take the scan results to them and tell them it's broke, fix it or refund your money and go somewhere else!

Thanks already talked to them and they said send it back. so i guess we will wait and see what happens.

I had the same issue on my 2001 Z-71. One day the ABS/Brake lights both came on. I could turn off the engine and restart it to get the lights to go off. Then they started coming on more frequently. I drove it a year like that because it was diagnosed with a bad ABS Module. The part was over 800 dollars to replace and i didn't have the money. I took it to the dealership who also said there was a service bulletin for the grounding on the frame for the module. They tried to clean the grounds, but the lights came on again. I had them replace the module and the lights never came on again. it cost me a little over 800 bucks installed to replace the module.
