headlights stuck on high

this is for a sick friend . 1994 chevy lumina apv head lights stuck on high . i have googled it autozone it try ed every search idea i can think of , nothing . i think the switch in the column is messed up but can't find anything on it , so it's up to you guys .

sounds like a bad switch to me too. does kinda make you scratch your head that it is stuck in the on position but it can happen.

Dealing with this on my wife's Avenger. If you take the switch apart you will see that the tip of the dimmer/turn signal lever sits in a pocket and is responsible for the dimming of the lights. May have broke or who knows. I know you'll figure it out.

does it feel like it is clicking as a switch should? could be a relay

Its probably a multifunction switch, $90 and hr labor to change

Far as I can see not a relay issue, just dimmer itself.
Don't know if it has the DRLs.
