loss of power

im lossing power in my 2003 4.8 mainly when it gets hot
im thinking its the converters any suggestions

is the SEL light on?? converter would be a good guess as to power failure. how many miles do you have on it??

any signs of hesitation or miss?? i know i am asking alot of question but am trying to rule out other possibilities for you before lots of money is spent chasing the tail. when was the last time you did a tune up??

i just changed the plugs and wires
it has a slight hesitation when its hot
i have a cold air intake which i clean on a rgular basis
im also losing antifreeze somewhere i cant find any leaks when im towing its running really hot

how much coolant are you losing?? could be an intake gasket leaking if you cant seem to locate a leak anywhere.
as for your hesitation, might be a great time to have it scanned. this should tell you any problems that the truck is encountering when up to operating temps. should also tell you if the cat is beginning to let loose.

when im towing i lose more but on average im losing about a quart every 2 weeks

a quart every 2 weeks is too much its probably the intake gasket hopefully not the head gasket....

my truck was losing power when hot like yours and it turned out to be a bad fuel pump but yours sounds a bit differnt in symtoms....

You really need to do that pressure test that radiator shops do or if you have the kit go for it because you need to know exactly where it's leaking from.
