| 1993 Chevy K1500 Transmission question... I recently replaced my tranny and it seems to be somewhat fine except for the hard shifts. If I keep the rpm's below 2500, it shifts great once you put pedal down and bring the rpm's up to like 3500 and above it shifts hard.. well it maybe a slip or not but don't think so. I was gonna add some lucas to it to see what happens but I need to take some fluid out to make room for it. Any suggestions or tips? Or is this one on it's way out as well. |

| Try using a bottle of Lucas transmission fix. I was having the same issues on my truck, and dumped a bottle of this in,and it helped. What was the condition for the Tranny. I fixed the problem of mine, by replacing the trans gasket, trans filter and the tranny fluid. My trans is doing a lot better Last edited by skyline2250; 05-17-2009 at 03:21 PM. |
