Thanks for the advice guys, new update, replaced the spark plugs, thought I had resolved the issue, 3 days later, and approx 100 miles the light came back on. I know some guys at work who are good mechanics and they said it shouldn't cost them more than a few hundred bucks to do all of them. If in fact that is the issue. He said it was a good idea to replace the plug cables as well, thats cheap, might do it myself. Any good brands as far as injectors? I found some good deals online but am unsure of the quality. Please let me know, thanks. -Quentin

Call FIC and ask for Jon. See if he carries Bosch Generation III injectors for your engine.

Each injector has a little screen on the top that acts as a last ditch fuel filter. When you remove yours look in there and see if there is any obvious crud in the screen (not likely but still...). You may have a cheap fix there.

Whoever's injectors you install make sure they come with Viton O-rings. Even good nitrile buna-n O-rings will fail in gas whereas Viton will outlast the engine. And be sure to lube them before you install them. I dip a finger in olive oil and run it around the rings before reinstalling them. Some people use dish soap but that drys and can damage the O-ring on the next removal. If you don't have olive oil in your kitchen use canola oil since it too has a high smoke point.

Well I found the slip and it was code p301, misfire for cylinder one. I want to resolve the issue but replacing all injectors would cost 290.00 for parts, cheapest I can find online. Or new ones through napa at 360.00. I just wish I had a good friend to help me out. I have some acquaintances from work, but it seems like I am bothering them, lol. Also on the slip they gave me they said they inspected the spark plug wires and coil pack and didn't find the issue there. Any other suggestions, please help. I may just shop around and find the cheapest place to replace the one and hope the others don't fail. Let me know what you guys think, thanks. -Quentin
