| slipping tranny My tranny will slip or not shift out of gear intermitently all of a sudden. Whenever it happens the speedometer will not work or will bounce around. If I stop the truck and shut it off for a couple seconds it seems to be fine, sometimes still stuck in first or second, sometimes not. I've had the truck over a year now with no tranny problems till now? Could this hopefully be something electrical like a sensor? Thanks.....Matt

| The service engine light is not on, and I've never seen it come on. I checked the codes anyway and there were none.

| If it is possibly the speed sensor, which one is it? Is it the one on the back end of the transfer case kinda on the top with two wires?

| I just re checked the codes. Codes 12 and 72 are there. Anyone know what they are, I can't seem to find my book all of a sudden.

| Code 12 should be there cause I'm doing a test, and according to the world wide web code 72 is VSS signal circuit error. So would that be vehicle speed sensor? If that's it, and it the two wire one on the end of the t case I have an extra t case I could try switching the sensors.
